Osteopathy is a gentle and effective manual therapy used for treatment and management of a wide range of medical conditions. It is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual relies upon a harmonious balance and smooth functioning of the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues.

Osteopathic care comprises the identification of the underlying cause(s) of pain, treatment using a variety of techniques to promote the body’s self-healing mechanisms and appropriate self-care advice to prevent re-occurrence. Primarily treatments involve soft tissue massage, mobilisations, manipulations and exercise prescription. Our osteopaths are also trained in medical acupuncture and kinesio taping which can also form part of the treatment plan.
